Wanda Goddard

Wanda was born on October 16, 1928 to Leo Eugene and Vera Elva Cordner Mecham. She has lived in Orem her whole life. She graduated from Lincoln High School 1947. Wanda met her husband John Robert Goddard and they were married August 27, 1949, their marriage was solemnized in May of 1989 in the Provo LDS Temple for time and eternity. Her husband passed away after a long battle with cancer on September 12, 1989, they had been married forty years. They were blessed with two sons John Randall and Kendall Eugene, and three grandsons. Wanda was a Primary Teacher. She was a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers where she held the office of Secretary-Treasurer for four years. She was a beauty school teacher, she went to Beauty School and got her license. She loved to be around people. She loved to fish at Strawberry Reservoir and also enjoyed to deer hunt. She had a very good life and good friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 31, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. in the Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary, 495 South State Street in Orem. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the services at the mortuary. Interment will be in the Orem City Cemetery.
