Vordakay Kenyon, 67, of Draper, passed away on Tuesday, December 22, 2020. Vorda was born in Los Angeles California to Norm and Val Workman on October 20, 1953. She married James L. Kenyon September 18, 1976 in Redondo Beach, California.
Vorda graduated from Redondo Union High School and then attended El Camino college in Southern California for a year and then BYU. Throughout her life she worked in various positions as a cashier in a Porsche-Audi dealership, a secretary for a pest control company, a secretary for the Community Development Corporation in Utah, and a secretary for the Provo Housing Authority. She was always interested in dance and art. She loved going to the theater and singing was always one of her passions. She loved to travel, especially if it involved a cruise ship.
Vorda was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her husband James L. Kenyon and three children: Jason of Salt Lake, Utah; Dustin (Camille) Kenyon of Highland, Utah; Vanessa (Lee) McMillan of St. George, Utah; and 11 of her 12 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 30th, 2020 at 11 a.m. at the Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary located at 495 South State Street in Orem. A viewing for friends and family will be held just prior to the service from 9:30-10:30 a.m. A graveside service will be held at the Orem City Cemetery following the funeral service.
