VELMA RUTH DAVIS CLEGG Velma Ruth Davis Clegg slipped peacefully into eternity May 21, 2014. She was the daughter of Claude & Mary Hansen Davis born, Oct 10, 1918 in McCammon Idaho. She married her sweetheart, Ted Clegg, June 30, 1937 in Pocatello, Idaho. Their 72 years together was a true love story. Their marriage was solemnized in the Provo Temple. She served & blessed countless lives. She was an avid reader, amazing cook, skilled seamstress, expert gardener, & loved nature. She had a deep & abiding love for her family. Her greatest callings were: wife, mother, grandmother, & great grandmother. She is survived by her children: Gayle Jacobsen (Ron), Sandy Wallace (Jack), & Earl Clegg (Marian). Grandchildren: Michelle, Shawna, JJ, Nicole, Jaron, Jon, Kevin & Alesa, 18 great grandchildren with her namesake, Ruth, on the way & her sister, Rhoda Price. She was preceded in death by husband, Ted, sisters: Leila, Melba, Ilene, & Joan. Special thanks to Beehive Home of Draper & staff. Funeral services will be Saturday, May 31st, 10 AM at Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary, 495 S State St, Orem, UT; the viewing will precede the funeral from 8:30 -9:45 AM. Interment will be in the Orem City Cemetery.
