Our much loved husband and father, Thomas H. Rowley, age 75, died peacefully November 3rd, 2015. Thom was born on August 4th 1940 in Parowan, Utah, the second of six children to Ronald F. and Pearl Worthen Rowley. He was sealed for time and all eternity to Linda Knight, December 27th 1963 in the St. George Temple. Together they had 3 daughters: Jennifer Rowley Lindsey, Robyn (Eli) Morais, and Heidi (Greg) Buttars. He graduated from SUU in Spanish and Political Science Education. He taught high school Spanish and Government for 33 years to 100s of students who adored him. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served a mission to the Mexico City, Mexico Mission. He also served faithfully in Bishoprics and various other callings. Thom served as a volunteer firefighter, city councilman, and police commissioner in Wilder, Idaho, where he was very active in the community. He was an avid runner. He loved to read and enjoyed spending time with his 5 grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Chloe, Abby, Liam and Max. He is survived by his wife, Linda, three daughters, two sons-in-law, five grandchildren, as well as four brothers, Larry (ReaDawn) Rowley, Mike (Vanna) Rowley, Craig (Marsha) Rowley, and Norm (Denise) Rowley. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Renee (Lynn) Jensen. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 9th at 11:00 am in the Canyon View LDS Stake Center 575 East 800 North Orem, UT. Friends and family are invited to attend a viewing from 9:30 to 10:45 that morning. Interment will be in the Orem City Cemetery.
