On July 20th 2014 Heaven opened up its gates to let one of earths most valiant souls come home. Undoubtedly she was welcomed home with hearing "come in thou valiant and faithful servant" Teresa Brandi Pratt left this world to be reunited with so many of her loved ones after a short illness. At the time of her death she was living in Mesa Arizona. She was born in Mendoza Argentina, on September 30th 1915 to Rosendo Brandi and Maria Pillar Perez. She was raised for a short time in Spain then returned to Argentina. She had the opportunity to live in many places in Central and South America. She married her eternal companion in Panama and at the end WWII they immigrated to the states initially settling in California. Mom had a unique ability to become instant friends with anyone she met. Her life centered on service to others, including family, friends and strangers she barely knew. She gave freely even though she had few worldly possessions. She was a devoted mother grandmother and GiGi as her great-grandchildren so affectionately called her. Her talents were many and to say a few are nothing short of incredible... they include beautiful crotchet and knitting work, gifted seamstress, dancer, cook, gardner. Her fierce and undying love for her savior and the gospel. She indeed was a true and noble disciple of Christ. She was welcomed to her heavenly home by her husband Mckay L Pratt and many others that proceeded her in death including most recently her grandson Jonathon R.Sorensen and hopefully her favorite cowboy of all time John Wayne!! She leaves behind 3 sons and 2 daughters, they are Parley P Pratt (Karen) Norman Pratt (Bonnie) David Pratt (Tena) Sylvia Atkin (Rick) Linda Bloomfield (Dan). Also an amazing posterity of 27 grandchildren, 72 great grandchildren. She touched so many lives and was loved by everyone she made contact with. She will be incredibly missed.
