Shaun David Jolley, 50, passed away at his home in Las Vegas, Nevada, Sunday August 9, 2015. He was born March 17, 1965 in Provo, Utah. He was raised in Orem, Utah by Sandra Black Jolley and Douglas L. Jolley He attended Orem schools and graduated from Orem High. He married his sweetheart Maurina Boban on May 28, 1988. They made their home in Provo, Orem, Lehi, and American Fork, and later moved to Las Vegas. He worked for Utah Technical College for 2 years, then Geneva US Steel, for 11 years; he then attended Steven Henagers Business College and graduated on the Deans list for Computer Science. He finished his career working at Union Pacific Railroad as a Signalman Assistant Foreman for the past 15 years. He was a member of the Utah National Guard. He loved being in the outdoors, hunting, fishing, golfing and liked riding motorcycles. God knew your suffering, that the hills were hard to climb so he gently closed your eyelids and whispered "peace by thine." It broke our hearts to have you go but you did not go alone, for part of us went with you the day God called you home. He is survived by his wife Maurina , and their 2 children Shaun P. Jolley, and Annaliese Jolley all of Las Vegas. Mother Sandra D. Bath and Father H. Toby Bath, Mother-in-law & Father-in-law, Maureen (Bill) Edwards, sister Myndi L. Aukerman of Denver, CO, sisters-in-law Marniee Jolley of Pleasant Grove, Katrina (James) Berger, brothers-in-law, Philip (Samar) Boban, Stephen Boban, stepsisters Lorie L. (John) Poweres of Springville, Julie A. (Tim) Kish, Fruit Heights and stepbrother Brian T. (Sandra) Bath. He was preceded in death by his father Douglas L. Jolley, brother Treavor D. Jolley, and sister Cindy L. Jolley, and his grandparents. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 20, 2015, at 1:00 pm in the Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary, 495 South State St in Orem with a visitation at the mortuary that day from 11:30 am to 12:45 pm.
