Seth May

Seth Ethan May, age 44, passed away December 31, 2017, at his home in Orem, Utah, after a long battle with drug addiction. He was born in Provo, Utah, on September 9, 1973, to Randy and Pamela Allen May.

Seth is survived by his children Kortnee Spencer and Ethan May; his parents Randy and Linda May and Floyd and Pamela Hassinger; his siblings Gretchen May-Chadsey, Clarissa (Blake) Marshall, Jed (Abi) Hassinger, Haley (Lance) Snider, Audrey (John) Crisp, Heather (Chad) Derum, Natalie (David) Young, Chelsea May, and Alex (Jackie) May; grandmothers Geri Bessler, Carol May, and Jean Conder Allen; his second mom and guardian angel Irene Johnston; 20 nieces and nephews, whom he particularly cherished and enjoyed.

Seth loved helping others and being generous with those less fortunate than himself. His faith in God never wavered. He had a tender spot in his heart for his “Granny,” who resided with him and his parents. He was always kind to animals and always looked out for their welfare. He was nearly finished with his 4-year degree at Utah Valley University.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 6, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at the LDS chapel located at 150 West 1600 South in Orem, with a viewing one hour prior. An evening viewing will be held Friday, January 5, 2018, from 6-8:00 p.m. at the Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary located at 495 South State Street, Orem, Utah.  Interment will be at the Orem cemetery located at 1520 North 800 East, Orem, Utah.
