Sena Moss

Sena lone Peterson Moss, 98 of Orem, passed away peacefully Monday October 12, 2020. She was heading into her 99th year! Sena was born in Ephraim, Utah June 18,1922 to Orpa Jorgenson and Clarence Peterson.

Sena attended schools in Ephraim. She married Bud Moss on March 17, 1947 in Elko, Nevada. They lived in Wendover, UT until 1956 when they moved to Orem. Bud passed away February 1,2007.

Sena was a member of The Church of Jesus of Latter-day Saints. She and dad traveled to several states, including cruising to Alaska and touring Hawaii. They enjoyed camping and taking their grandchildren fishing. Mom was a huge fan of BYU sports and the Utah Jazz.

She is survived by 1son; Royd of Roy Utah, 3 daughters VaNiece (Robert) Carter  of Pleasant Grove, Sonya (Stan) Deveraux of West Jordan and Janet (Larry) Hatch of South Jordan, 10 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bud, a great grandson Vance Deveraux, three brothers Elmo, Marlin and Leo Peterson; five sisters: Marcell Poulson, Esther Bailey, Ada Skinner Anderson, LaVee Peck Cobbley and Kenna Christensen and three infant siblings.

Graveside services for family and friends will be Friday, October 16, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at the Orem City Cemetery, 1520 N 800 E-with open mic for tributes. Due to COVID, we ask that everyone wear face masks and follow social distancing guidelines.
