Sarah Mcguire

Sarah “Sally” Venice Lunt Fuller McGuire, 89, of Orem/Pleasant Grove, Utah, passed away on December 11, 2017. She was born January 18, 1928, in Duncan, Arizona, to Heaton and Chloe Haws Lunt. She was the ninth of twelve children. She raised a family in Camarillo, California, retired in Silver City, New Mexico, and returned to Utah twelve years ago to be closer to family.

Sarah was a loving and supportive wife to Bill Fuller, Charles Dowler, and Bill McGuire.

Sarah had a kind heart and a tender soul. She blessed the lives of all who crossed her path. She was always looking for ways to help others and make a difference. She was a woman of action, a woman of adventure. Nature always held a special place in her heart. She treasured gardening. Sarah had a deep passion for history. She was always striving to continue research for her family’s history. She cherished her pioneer heritage. She was proud to come from such “good stock.” We will forever admire her and look to her memory as an example to help us live our lives moving forward. She taught us all perseverance with her example.

She is survived by her sister Donna Craven; her brother Wilbur Lunt; her daughter‐in‐law Denice Fuller; her son Rex (Susan) Fuller, her daughters Janet (Gene) Latta and Cyndi (Bob) Hickman; her step‐daughter Linda Silber; 14 grandchildren; and 26 great‐grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her oldest son Bruce “Buffalo” Fuller and nine of her beloved siblings.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 18, 2017, at 11 a.m. in the Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary located at 495 South State Street in Orem, Utah. Viewings will be held at the mortuary on Sunday, December 17, 2017, from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. just prior to the funeral services. Burial will be in the Orem City Cemetery.
