Samantha Elizabeth Chipman

Samantha Elizabeth Chipman passed away November 28, 2023, in Orem, Utah. She was born in Grand Forks, ND on August 28, 2000, to Tara (Tia) Chipman and Dr. S. Bret Chipman. She grew up in Payson, Utah where she played soccer, ran cross country, sang in the school choirs and played her violin in the orchestras. Sami graduated from High School in Goldsboro, NC. She attended Southern Virginia University where she enjoyed playing in their orchestra. Sami was an amazing older sister to Michael Bret, Tanner and Tyler Kate. She loved them so much. They were her best friends.

During the past four years, she has been living in Springville where she taught many children how to play the piano and the violin. She loved teaching and loved her students. She also enjoyed working at "Bridal Up Hope" where she helped with service projects.

Sami was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved the Lord Jesus Christ and served as a temple worker in the Provo City Center Temple. She wrote in a journal, "I am a disciple of Jesus Christ. I will learn to love as He did, to walk in His ways, and to Hear Him." Samantha will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her mother.

Funeral services will be Friday, December 8th at Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary, 495 So. State St, Orem, Utah at 12:00 pm with a viewing from 11:00 - 11:45am. Interment will be in the Payson City Cemetery.
