Russell Stubbs

Russell Earl Stubbs, age 70, passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2018. He departed softly, surrounded by loving family in his Orem, Utah, home. He was born in Provo, Utah, on June 21, 1947, to Joseph Fred Stubbs and Elaine LaPriel Bott.

This gentle man is survived by his loving wife Barbara Ned Morgan; his five children: James (Cori), Christopher (Sarah), Rusty, Roger (Leigh), and Cherilyn Phillips (Van); and 12 devoted grand-children. He was—and will always be—our Father, Brother, Husband, Hero and Friend.

Viewing for friends and family will be Tuesday, February 6, 2018, evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at The Sundberg-Olpin Funeral Home located at 495 South State Street, Orem, Utah, and on Wednesday morning at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints ward building located at 1700 South 400 East, Orem, Utah, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, following the morning viewing. Burial will be in the Provo City Cemetery with full military honors performed by the American Legion.
