Our sweet little angel, Royce Jaiden Ward, 20 months, passed away Saturday, July 7th, 2018 at Children's Hospital in Los Angeles, surrounded by his family after a tragic accident that took him from this earth too soon.
Royce was born October 19, 2016, in Salt Lake City, Utah to his loving parents Jaiden and Lindsie Ward. The short time we spent with Royce was filled with so many special moments. His beautiful smile with his perfect eyes that only portrayed love. He loved to say “hiii” to anyone and everyone. Every time there was music playing and no matter where he was, he would dance. He loved music and would try to sing LDS hymns during sacrament meeting. He would also clasp his hands so sweetly during prayers (something that no one had taught him to do). He was so sweet and would always hold your hand when he was walking or in the car. His soft skin and warm hugs melted our hearts and his contagious laugh filled a room. In those many tender moments it was so easy to be drawn to him and his spirit.
In Royce’s short time on this earth he traveled to New Zealand, Idaho, Arizona, Colorado and spent multiple days in Disneyland. He loved all animals, especially his own dogs, Sailo and Millie. He loved his binkie and the water. He would only fall asleep in his crib because he never wanted to miss out on anything. His favorite movies were Coco, Moana, and Trolls and he would watch them over and over. He loved hot dogs, mac-n-cheese, yogurt and fruit. Often he would empty out drawers and closets and stack everything neatly on a table.
Royce is survived by Parents, Jaiden and Lindsie Ward; Uncles: Brady (Sarah) Ward, CJ (Kiera) Ward, Brandon (Natalie) Ford, Derek (Madeline) Ford and Ken (Whitney) Ford; Aunts: Jessica (Kade) Haviland, Savannah (Tristan) McIntosh, Emily Ford, and Carrie Ford; Maternal Grandparents: Cindy and Rick Ford; Paternal Grandparents: Brenda (John) Hewett and Dean (Lycia Morgan) Ward; Cousins: Jerico, Kaislee and Kennady Haviland, Conner and Freya Ward, Madison and Kellen Ford, Laiken and Grayson Ford; Maternal Great Grandparents: Robert and Jean Werkheiser and John Ford; Paternal Great Grandparents: Carolyn and Keith Atkinson, Mary Lynn and Dick Spahr, Kenneth Williams and Becky and Von Brockbank; and his beloved dogs, Sailo and Millie.
