Ronald Humphries

Ronald Glen Humphries was welcomed with open arms as he rejoined his mother, father, brother, and many others close to him on Wednesday, April 5, 2017. He was released from this world in the early morning at the age of 74, after a brief, merciful battle with cancer. Ron passed peacefully, knowing he loved and was loved more than one might think possible. Ron served in the LDS Church and community all his life leaving behind countless people who are better to have known him. His wife Shirley Humphries, 5 children: Vonnie Fokken (Dave), Kevin Humphries (Jaime), Tarryn Batton (Darron), Troy Humphries (Shari), DJ Humphries (Kyla), 13 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild are grateful for the time they had with him.  Ron’s life was spent teaching them how to laugh, to serve selflessly, and above all to love each other. A celebration of Ron’s life will be held on Saturday April 8, 2017, at the LDS Chapel at 1075 South Geneva Road, Orem, Utah, with a viewing at 9 through 10:30 a.m. and services at 11 a.m. Service arranged through Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary in Orem, Utah.
