Roger Gillespie

In loving memory we celebrate the life of Roger Sharp Gillespie, of Provo, Utah. Husband, father, brother, friend--we will miss him. His greatest accomplishments were his family, his farm, and his self sufficiency. He tried hard to live by the golden rule and seek truth. He was a problem solver, could fix anything, and was athletic and strong to the end. Grandpa Roger will live on in our hearts forever. He is survived by his wife, Janie Gillespie; his sons and daughters-in-law, Bart and Rosie, Bryan and Emily, Kyle and Brittney; his siblings, Kay, Dan, Valdis, Joyce, and Joan; his twelve grandchildren; his step-father, Jay Hauter, and his in-laws, Frank and Colleen Morgan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilford and Olive Gillespie Haueter. A casual graveside service will be held at East Lawn Cemetery on Wednesday, July 1, at 9:00 am.
