He loved to dance and at one of the dances he met his future bride, Vonza Mae Davies. They were married April 2nd, 1945 in Cardston. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Cardston LDS Temple. Bob developed his talent of wood working- and was a wonderful carpenter. He helped many of his children and grandchildren build things- including their homes. Bob & Vonza moved down to Orem in 1968 where Bob continued his schooling- got his GED and graduated from BYU with a Bachelor's of Science degree, specializing in Industrial Arts Education, along with a teaching certificate. He taught at South Valley School for several years. Bob served in various LDS church Sunday school presidencies, and the High Priest Quorum. He was a very hard worker and could fix almost anything.
