Ardell was born November 17, 1935 in Paul, ID. He died November 18, 2020 in Orem, UT. He was preceded in death by his parents Edward Coleman and Elial (Radmall) Coleman, wives Opal (Westhoff), Shirley (Coleman) Coleman, son Michael Coleman, grandson Dennis Coleman and brothers Clarence and Veldon Coleman.
Ardell spent his childhood in Salmon, ID, Salt Lake City, Midvale and West Jordan, UT. He was a diesel mechanic. On May 9, 1957 he married Opal (Westhoff) in the Salt Lake City Temple. They resided for a short while in Utah then moved to the greater Kansas City MO area. Ardell worked on the Ford assembly line, Allis Chalmers and the Kansas City Star. In 1974 Ardell, opal and their three children moved to Orem, UT. Ardell worked for Orem City and had the All Star Laundry in Provo. Opal passed away in 1990. In 1991 Ardell married Shirley. They spent their time camping, working on the house and with family. When Shirley passed away in 2007, Ardell still enjoyed camping and spending time with family. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Ardell is survived by his children; Mark (Donna), Cynthia (Jason), daughter-in-law Alethea, Grandchildren; Angela, Mandy, Patrick, Scott, Eric, Ryan, Tracy, Alexis, Ethan & Nikole. 22 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great-great Grandchild.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Sharon Park 1st Ward Chapel on 300 North 100 East, Orem, UT. Burial will be at the Timpanogos Memorial Gardens.
