Reed Franklin White of Orem Utah was called home by his Heavenly Father, June 18, 2018. He passed through the veil peacefully after suffering from illnesses for 18 years. Reed was born to Arvilla Olsen-White and Reed Adolphus White, September 24, 1939 in Reno Nevada.
He was the eldest of three kids, with two younger sisters, Lana and Maureen White. He was a lifelong active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He spent the first ten years of his life in Susanville California and then moved to Utah, until the age of 17, when in 1956 he enlisted in the United States Navy. On September 27, 1962, Reed was honorably discharged from the Navy. Reed loved to play his guitar and sing old western music.
In 1970 he met and married Sandra Rudell Ferrin in which they were later sealed in the Provo Utah temple. From that union they had 5 children, Ralae White, Raleene White, Reed Ferrin White, Robin White & Joseph Ephraim White. Reed had a passion for constitutional law and a deep love for the Savior and the scriptures. He spent his entire adult life studying and learning of all three. He is survived by all 5 of his children, 6 grandchildren, 1 daughter-in-law and sister Lana. He is preceded in death by his Mother and Father.
There will be a graveside service Saturday June 30th, 10 a.m. at Camp Williams Cemetery located at 17111 South Camp Williams Rd, Bluffdale City, UT, 84065.
