Reed Jay Bartlome, oldest son of Frank Jay Bartlome and Bertha Taylor Bartlome, was born on June 6, 1949 in Montpelier, Idaho, and passed away at the age of 65 in Provo, Utah on February 23, 2015 of natural causes. He served an honorable mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Texas North mission. He attended Ricks College and then Brigham Young University, graduating with a BS degree in Computer Science. He married Jeanne Dannenberg (later divorced) and had two daughters. He married Gloria S. Alexander and had two more daughters and a son. He enjoyed skiing, oldies music, woodworking, and keeping himself fit. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Gloria; his children, Brittany Baltutis, Kimberly Marriott, Cynthia Anderton, Tiffany Bartlome, and Robert Bartlome; his step-children Diane Ellis, Matthew Alexander, and Bonnie Alexander; and 8 grandchildren. He is also survived by his two brothers, Don and Michael. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister-in-law, RaNae Bartlome. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
