Raymond Percy Lane, age 80, of Orem, Utah, passed away Saturday, August 20, 2016. He was born February 12, 1936 to Edwin and Phila Lane in Bath, Maine.
He tried his best to model his life after the teachings of the Savior Jesus Christ. He was a great example of Christ-like love through his service to his family, friends and even strangers who he felt prompted to help through their travels in this life. He was a hard-working man who taught his children the importance of doing a job right the first time, being responsible for their actions and putting the Savior first in their lives. Those of us left behind mourn his loss, but rejoice in the reunion with his loved ones on the other side.
He is survived by his second wife Jean Paulson Anderson Lane; his two sisters Elmae Williams and Arnie England; five children David Lane, Renee Moon, Debbie Myers, Tanya Purser, and Cory Lane; 25 Grandchildren and 15 Great-grandchildren with an anticipated many more to arrive. He was preceded in death by his eternal companion, Loretta Ann Murphy Lane, his parents, his two brothers Firsteen and Eldwin Lane and his grandson Jacob Moon.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday August 24th 2016 at 11:00am at the LDS chapel located at 950 South 50 East Orem, Utah. He will be interred at Memorial Gardens cemetery in Concord, California.
