Randy Charles Lees, 67, of Orem, passed away Sunday, May 5, 2019. He was born on December 27, 1951, in Provo, Utah, to Ronald Charles Lees and Lola Pearl (Mason) Lees. He was married to DeAnna (Russell) Klindt.
Randy graduated from Orem High School.
He served in the United States Marine Corps and was proud to be a Marine. A Devil Dog! He showed his love for the Marines by wearing his Marine shirts, hats and anything he could order from his military catalogs. He worked for American Linen for over 30 years. He enjoyed camping and sitting by the fire, doing yard work for his mom and being around his family and friends. He was a loving father and grandfather and he will be missed by them all dearly.
Randy is survived by his four daughters: Lisa Ann Lees of Orem, Utah; Christie Kae (Douglas) Tanner of Payson, Utah; Jackie DeAnn Wilkinson of Provo, Utah; Ronilynn (Ryan) Adams of Spanish Fork; his 17 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father Ronald Charles Lees, brother Ronald Bud Lees, niece Stephanie Ann Lees and great-granddaughter Lexy Kae Sanchez.
Randy's daughters and family want to express their heartfelt appreciation for the excellent attention and care to Randy from the nurses and aids at First Choice Hospice and Heritage Care Center of Utah.
A viewing for family and friends will be held Wednesday, May 8, 2019 from 11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at The Sundberg Olpin Mortuary located at 495 South State Street in Orem. Burial will be at the Mt. Timpanogos Memorial Gardens Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. with military rites by the American Legion.
