Ralph Irving Pinkham (84) of Orem, UT passed away peacefully at home on April 10th, 2025, with his wife Linda by his side. He was born on December 15, 1940, in Lyndonville, Vermont to Clarence Dewey Pinkham and Dolores Learnore Smith. On June 23, 1962, he was baptized into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. On September 5, 1968, He married Linda Gail Roebecker in the Salt Lake City temple.
Ralph graduated from BYU in 1971 with a BS in Industrial Arts Education. He taught high school shop for a time but chose to work in construction. Over the years he lent his talents and skills to several projects including venues used during the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake and the Nauvoo Temple.
Ralph served 26 years in the US Navy as a radio technician and as a Sea bee in the Navy Reserve. He retired in 1995.
Ralph is survived by Linda, his wife of 56 years. His three children Ra Lin (Barrie) Christensen of Montana, Berton (Lynnea) Pinkham of Tennessee and Bethany (Mike) Peterson of Tennessee, thirteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. He was proceeded in death by his parents Clarence and Dolores, his sisters Kanora and Jacqueline and his brother Donald.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday April 16th at 11 :00 am at the Hillcrest 1st Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at 1450 S 800 E Orem, UT. A viewing will be held prior to the funeral service from 9:30-10:30am.
Graveside services will be held at the Utah Veterans Cemetery & Memorial Park located at 17111 S 1700 W Bluffdale, UT starting at 1 :00pm. Military rites will be provided by V.F.W. District #4
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at 11:00 am at the LDS Chapel located at 1450 South 800 East, with a viewing for family and friends held that morning at the church from 9:30-10:30 am prior to the services. Interment will be at Utah Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 17111 South Camp Williams Road (1700 West), Bluffdale, UT 84065.
