Quincy Phillip Langager, 37 of Orem, Utah, passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2015 after a long battle with alcohol addiction. Quincy was born September 13, 1977 in Provo Utah. He is the son of DyAnn Peck and Phillip G. Langager and raised by his mother and step-father Gary R. Houston. Quincy was a recipient of the Hope of America Award and was also an Eagle Scout. He graduated from Mountain View High School in 1995, and earned his Associates Degree in drafting from Utah Valley State College. He had a fun-loving, compassionate, kind-hearted personality. He liked to tease his sisters and his mom right to the very end. He lived in Orem all of his life and was the proud business owner of Dr. Carpet. He was respected and loved by those who worked with him. He enjoyed fishing with friends, was a self-taught artist, played the drums, and spoiled his cats. He was a loyal friend to many and had lots of fun with his cousins growing up. He is survived by his parents, Gary and DyAnn Houston, his five sisters, Machelle (Mike) Johnson of Orem, Steffanie (Carl) Williams of Lindon, Amanda (Tim) Kobelin of Orem, Melissa (Grover) Ward of Ryndon, NV, and Kristin (Rich) Wright of Orem, Julie (Steve) Wilson of Payson, Brandon Houston of Missoula, MT and 21 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Phillip Gordon Langager, his brother Jeffrey Langager who died in infancy and his grandparents Harold Eugene (Jeff) Peck, Dean Cobbley and LaVee Peck Cobbley. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 14, 2015 at Geneva Heights Stake Center 550 North 500 West Orem, Utah, with a viewing from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Interment will be at the Orem City Cemetery.
