Paul Rasmussen

Paul Finn Rasmussen, 48, of Orem passed away August 24th 2021. He was born December 17th 1972 to Ronald Rasmussen and Sylvia Norve Rasmussen. He married Erica Curran January 8, 1998 then later divorced.  He married a second time to Andrea Franke on August 8, 2003 and had 2 children together and later divorced.

Paul loved camping, fishing, and the great outdoors. He enjoyed mountain biking and hiking. He found work in construction and became skilled in brick masonry and concrete, and was a handyman of all trades. He loved his family and children and wore his heart on his sleeve. He had a kind heart and helped others frequently. Halloween was his favorite holiday, he was creative with costumes.

Paul is survived by brother Danny Rasmussen of Pleasant Grove, Utah; sister Nancy (Tom)  Malmstrom of West Haven, Utah;  brother Blain (Monica) Rasmussen of Mapleton, Utah; sister-in-law Beverly (Wayne)Rasmussen of Golden Valley, Arizona;  Children, Leslie Alvey Thomas; Austin James Starks ; Kjersti Lynn Rasmussen; Kayden Finn Rasmussen; Sylvia Jana Mary Rasmussen; Steven Ronald Dennis Rasmussen;  He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Wayne Rasmussen.

A celebration of life will be held for family and dear friends on Saturday, August 28th from 2pm-4pm at Westmore Park (behind Westmore Elementary) located at 150 West 1100 South in Orem. A light lunch will be provided. Please feel free to share fond memories.
