Paul Brent Cook, 64, of Vineyard returned to his Heavenly Father Saturday, November 16, 2019. He was born December 13, 1954 on his mother’s birthday in Price, Utah, a son of Omer Alonzo and Eva Otterstrom Cook. He graduated from Orem High School and was active in football, track, and wrestling. He was an Eagle Scout and earned The Duty to God award. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served a mission to Guatemala. He married Ernestina I. Jones and was later divorced. He attended BYU and also graduated from Stevens-Henager College with an Associate in Business Science Degree in Computers. Paul worked in many industries and enjoyed computer programming and customer service. Most recently he was employed with Entrata and enjoyed working with the people there. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed reading, movies, and studying languages. Paul is survived by his two daughters, Jennifer C. Arguello, Alabama, and Jacqueline K. Morales, Florida, nine grandchildren; and his siblings, Eugene Cook, Don Cook, Merrill Cook, Verna Johnson, and Clark Cook. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Eva Jeanette Cook, and a brother, Phillip Cook. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 23, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. in the Grandview 6th Ward chapel, 1600 N 1880 W. Provo, Utah. A viewing will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. prior to services. Burial will be in the Orem City Cemetery. He left peacefully with his last thoughts and words on his family.
