Paul Lynn Anderson, 53, of Orem passed away from a heart attack on October 20th, 2021. He was born on August 18th, 1968, in Provo, Utah to Dean & Susan Anderson.
Paul was employed as a correctional officer for 23 years of his life. He graduated from Orem High School in 1986 and he played football for Southern Utah University. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served a faithful mission in Fukuoka, Japan.
He enjoyed twistin’ wrenches, mountain biking with friends, fishing, dirt biking, and of course, weightlifting. He was a matchless father and an amazing Papa. He loved his children and grandchildren fiercely. His smile alone could light up the room. His laugh was the most contagious laugh, and you couldn’t help but laugh with him. His heart was bigger than life. He so easily caught onto new things and enjoyed the learning process. He was his friends and family’s superhero and was often referred to as The Hulk or Superman. He was kind, strong, gregarious, smart and he was a strong advocate for his loved ones or anyone in need alike and was always one phone call away. He was present and always ready for an adventure.
Paul is survived by his mother: Susan Anderson (75) and his four children: Chelsi Cruz (30), Kelcie Anderson (29), Austin Anderson (27), Baylee Jones (24), and his eight grandchildren.
He was proceeded in death by his father: Dean Anderson, and his siblings: Alan Anderson and Diane Anderson.
