Patricia Reese

Patricia Lunceford Reese, 82, of Mapleton, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Wednesday, May 1st, 2024. 
 Patricia was born in Provo, UT on July 24, 1941. She was born to loving parents Vernett Perkins and William Joseph Lunceford, where she was the eighth of nine children. When Patricia graduated high school she married her high school sweetheart David Thomas Reese in the Manti Utah Temple on June 2, 1959. They went on to have four children, Kerri, David, Stephen, and Mitchel.
 
 Patricia enjoyed gardening, planting and arranging flowers, and spending time with family and friends while doing things such as playing games, visiting, and going on walks. She enjoyed bird-watching in her yard and planting the flowers that would attract the birds she enjoyed watching. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Patricia's favorite place to go in the world was their cabin in Island Park, ID. She and Dave would spend their entire summers each year at their cabin on Henry's Lake with their friends. She enjoyed the views, seeing lots of wildlife, fishing, playing cards and domino games. She also spent long hours reading books on the porch, and many other activities that were available there at the cabin. Patricia and Dave have made some of their best lifelong friends with folks up in Island Park over the years. It's safe to say that both Pat and Dave are happiest when they are at Henry's Lake enjoying the summer & fall.
 
 Patricia is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband David Thomas, her daughter Kerri-Lynn (John), and sons David James, Stephen Thomas, and Mitchel Charles (Tara). And her delightful grandchildren, Cherish, Stephanie, and David Allen.
 
 
 We will be holding an evening viewing Sunday, May 12th from 6 - 8 pm for friends and family to come pay their respects to Patricia's Family.
