Patricia Billington

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother Patricia (Larsen) Billington passed away on March 4, 2016 in Orem, UT surrounded by her family in a room filled with love. Born May 18, 1936 in San Acacio, CO to Carl and Mary (Luster) Larsen. She grew up in the San Luis Valley of Colorado and worked summers at a dude ranch. She was a high school cheerleader and rodeo queen and briefly attended Adams State College where she met her husband. Pat married Harvey Eugene Billington in Del Norte, CO in 1956 and sealed in the Denver LDS Temple in 1996, there surrounded by all five daughters and their husbands. Pat was a friend to everyone who knew her. A leader in many civic organizations and auxiliaries of the LDS Church as well as a Denver Temple worker, her love language was cooking. With Harvey she served two LDS missions: Kentucky Louisville and Tooele, UT LDS Job Resource Center. Pat is survived by her husband Harvey Billington of Orem, UT, daughters Nancy (Robert) Peterson, Carla Perry (Chuck) Hanchett, Susan (Doug) Palmer, Laura (Anthony) Keele, and Anne (Jon) Warner; twenty grandchildren: Happiness Peterson, Sundy Peterson (Tyler) Anderson, Lacey Peterson, Paul Peterson, Crystal Perry, Kayleen Perry (Bob) Ulrich, Kevin Perry, Amberly Palmer (Beau) Page, Ryan (Tamara) Palmer, Chelsea Palmer (Kris) Hughes, Bethanie Palmer (Miles) Hillier, Jason Palmer, Eric (Kate) Keele, Jennifer Keele (Lance) Peterson, Jared (Adree), Elise Keele (Aziz) Ahmed, Emilee Keele (Joshua) Bishop, Jessica Keele, Carl Warner, and Dallin Warner; eighteen great grandchildren, and three sisters (Carolyn Larsen Schofield, Betty Larsen Blackhurst, Mary Kaye Larsen Johnson). A funeral will be held Saturday, March 12 at the Orem 1st Ward LDS Chapel at 80 E. 280 S. at 10:00 a.m., preceded by a viewing from 9 until 9:45 a.m. Burial by Sundberg-Olpin Funeral Home at the Pleasant Grove, UT Cemetary. The family wish to thank their "family" at Treeo Independent Living, medical staff at American Fork Hospital, Dr. Gary Garner in Provo, Dr. Michael Lehnardt, Pleasant Grove, and our loving friends at Rocky Mountain Care Hospice.
