Norma Jean (Olga) Jensen born July 28th (or 27th it's ok to ask) 1933 to Joseph Fielding Jensen and Effie Viola Jensen in Brawley California, peacefully died in her sleep of natural causes on the morning of March 4th, 2023. She was the 3rd of 6 children.
Norma loved to go camping and was an accomplished seamstress. She taught sewing classes for senior citizens for many years. She had great sympathy for the underdog and was always happy to help in any way she could. Norma lived her life to the fullest in every way. Although she was months from her 90th birthday she was vibrant, happy and full of life.
Norma married Arnold Long on October 4th of 1951. Together they had 3 children Kathy (Steven) Lowe, Shelly (Charles) Keisel, and Kevin (Tiffany Jones) Long. They were married for 50 years before his passing.
In October of 2002, Norma married Joseph Barnes. They served 2 LDS missions, 1 in Canada and 1 at the job center in Midway UT. Joe passed away in 2013.
In June of 2022 Norma married Chad Pugmire. They celebrated their 9 month anniversary the day before her passing.
Norma is survived by her husband Chad, her 3 children, 8 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, her brother Neldon (Diane) Jensen and her sister Sharon (Harold) Little.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 husbands, 2 brothers (Ray and Darrell), her sister Wanda, and 2 great-grandchildren Taylor and Sunny.
She is greatly loved and will be missed by her family, friends and all who knew her.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at 12:00 pm at the LDS Chapel located at 80 South 280 East, Orem, with a viewing held that morning at the church from 11:00-11:45 am prior to the services.
