1925-2018
Neva Waldron Taylor passed away June 5 just a few weeks before her 93rd birthday. She was born June 20, 1925, at Gwenford, Idaho, a daughter of Thomas John and Hannah Griffiths Waldron. She was educated in Samaria and Malad, Idaho. Three of her four grandparents were from Wales so she learned some of the Welsh language growing up.

She married Raymond Lionel Taylor in 1962 and had two children: Mark Taylor of Washington, Utah, and Jan Taylor of Orem. They eventually made their home in St. George.
Neva was active with the Bloomington Country Club where she was involved in golf, Bridge and the Ladies Association. She won several golf tournaments and enjoyed sewing, quilting, knitting, cross-stitch, crocheting and crafts. In her earlier years she sewed clothes to model in fashion shows.
Neva was very social and liked talking to all types of people. She especially loved babies and children. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She is survived by her children, a brother Thayne Waldron of Folsom, California and sister-in-law Dorothy McMullin of St. George, Utah. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a sister Theda Smith, and brothers Glen Waldron, LuDell Waldron and Terry Waldron.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 9, at 11:00 a.m. at Sundberg Olpin Mortuary, 495 South State Street, Orem. Family and friends may call from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at the funeral home prior to services. Internment will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Salt Lake City.
