Mona Doreen Allred Vincent Millett, age 89 passed away peacefully on September 27, 2020. She was born on Jan 2, 1931 in Cardston, Alberta, Canada to Douglas A. Allred and Ivy May Skipworth.
She married Roy E. Vincent, and Clyde Lunceford both are deceased. Late in life, at the young age of 82, she married the love of her life and best friend Ronald A. Millett on August 12, 2014 in the Timpanogos Temple for time and all eternity. He preceded her in death on June 22, 2019.
Mona was a faithful and strong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served as Relief Society President, Primary President, Young Women’s President, Teacher in Primary, and in Young Women’s multiple times. Served as a missionary in the Missionary Training Center in Provo, Utah. She had an amazing connection with children, youth and dogs. She loved spending time with her family and made every holiday special. She was an angel on earth, always serving, sharing and bringing joy to everyone. She lived a long and full life and she never stopped being a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was so proud of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and loved them all very much. She will be remembered as an elegant, kind and gentle lady who loved and served her church, husband and family, as well as a dear friend to so many. She loved to work in her yard and made it a beautiful secret garden. While in her home during her final years she was still able to remain a beacon of light, love, and goodness for her family and friends. She will be greatly missed.
She leaves behind her five children: Kristi (Stan) Rogers, Debi (Dale) Kofford, Roy (Lisa) Vincent, Barry Vincent, David Vincent, her sister Marilyn Bennett, and brothers Gordon and Doug Allred Jr and many nieces and nephews. She was blessed with 11 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren and her faithful little dog Blondie, all who brought her immense joy.
Preceded in death by her parents, Husband, and one grandson. She is having a sweet reunion with them now!
A visitation will be held Friday, October 2, 2020 at the Lakeview 5th Ward Chapel 2168 South 140 West, Orem, Utah from 9:30-10:45 a.m. The funeral and/or a celebration of life at 11:00 a.m. Graveside services will be at the Provo City Cemetery 610 South State Street, Provo, Utah.
