An adventurous life so very well lived!
Meagen Adelaide George, age 40, passed away on the morning of Friday, February 21, 2025. As a testament to her fighting spirit, she waged a valiant battle with grit and grace against a very rare cancer - Cholangiocarcinoma.
Meagen grew up in Orem having leadership positions both in Church and while attending Suncrest Elementary School. She was a competitive gymnast for All American Gymnastics by age 5, and in high school, was co-captain of the cheer squad. After graduating in 2003 from Mountain View High School, she worked at several locations in Utah Valley, landing her dream job with Mitchell Excavating. In 2016, She married her best friend and favorite human on earth, Mike George. The two of them traveled extensively and made their home together in Springville.
She is survived by her loving husband, Michael George, her father, Jerry Ridley, her mother, Brenda Reyes, two sisters, Holli Gonzales and Madison Love. She was also surrounded in love by too numerous to count, family members, friends, coworkers, and her current favorite pet, Pickles. Join us ALL in celebrating her amazing life on Wednesday, February 26, at 11:00 am at the LDS Chapel located at 1785 East 400 South in Springville, with a viewing held that morning at the church from 9:30-10:30 am prior to the service. Burial will be in the Orem City Cemetery, 1520 North 800 East, Orem.
