Our loving father, husband, son, and brother passed away suddenly and unexpected on December 5, 2014 at the age of 39, due to health complications. Matt was born March 16, 1975 in Provo, UT to Shauna Gurr Cartwright and David Clark Cartwright. He was married June 8, 2007 to Kristi Turner Cartwright. Matt received his degree in business and accounting, and continued on to start up a business with his friend doing loan modifications. Matt was a member of the LDS church and was sealed to his family for time and all eternity in the LDS Provo, UT Temple. Matt loved to golf and be outdoors. He loved camping and telling stories around a campfire. Most of Matts favorite memories growing up were out on the lake at Lake Powell with his dad and all his family. He loved to jet ski! He loved to cook and serve for others. Most of all, Matt loved his family, especially his two little girls. He would always have one of them by his side, especially when gardening and cooking. He loved taking them out on fun dates and watching them giggle and laugh. Matt is survived by his wife, Kristi Turner Cartwright and two children, Maleah (7), and Halle (5), his mother, Shauna Gurr Cartwright, 2 brothers: Michael and Christopher Cartwright, 4 sisters: Kimberli Donovan (Erik), Carrie Lea (Ken), Kylee Cartwright, and Madisen Cartwright, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. Matt was preceded in death by his father, David Clark Cartwright. We love you, Matt! You will be missed by many!
