Mary Vert

Our loving Mother and friend to all, Mary Ellen Gray Vert, 77, passed away on October 27, 2021. She brought light and happiness to our World when she was born on December 24th 1943 in Frederick, Oklahoma.

Her death leaves a hole in so many lives, as she uplifted and inspired everyone who met her. She was the best mother and Christ-like example to all, and especially to her family. She was always there to love and care for her 3 favorite children. She experienced her greatest joys when caring for and being with her family. That joy was amplified with the addition of each of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her children Connie (Boyd) Hooley, Karen (Steve) Davis, and Doug Vert. She will be greatly missed by her 9 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She had an amazing way of making each person feel like they were her “favorite”. She was definitely each of our favorite, as well.  She was preceded in death by her parents Marie and Douglas Farley and her brothers Jerry Farley and Vernon Farley.

We express our gratitude to those caregivers that took the time to care for and go out of their way to make her feel special. Also, a big thank you to Brio hospice for the extra care and love they gave to our mom.
