Mary Tuttle

Mary Hafen Tuttle passed away July 25, 2016 at Utah Valley Hospital. Born on July 4, 1949 to Joseph and Marry Harris Hafen in Provo, Utah, Mary was the last of eleven siblings. Raised in Provo, Mary attended Provo High where she graduated in 1967. She graduated from BYU in 1971 with a degree in Elementary Education and taught for 25 years at Westside Elementary in Springville, Utah.

Mary was married to Eric Jensen Tuttle on June 3rd, 1970, in the Salt Lake Temple. Four children were born to that union: Taina Reece (Kyle), Gina, Bret (Sandi), and Mandi. Eric and Mary were also blessed with seven grandchildren: Kylie, Zachary, Katilyn, and Madison Reece, Austin, Emma, and Avrie Tuttle.

Mary was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints her entire life, and she had a firm testimony of Jesus Christ and his divinity. She was a wonderful woman who was loved by many, and will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by siblings John Mark Hafen, Irene Gibbs, Carol Jones, Esther Blackburn, and Margret Rupp.

Funeral services will be Saturday July 30, 2016 at 11:00 AM, with a viewing prior from 9:30 to 10:45 in the Cascade 4th Ward Chapel located at 1050 East 200 North in Orem. A viewing will also be held on Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 PM at Sunberg-Olpin Mortuary, located at 495 South State, Orem.
