Mary Seaver

Mary Kathryn (Derr) Seaver, age 66, of Lehi Utah, returned home to her Heavenly Father on May 2, 2023

Mary Kathryn was born on October 27, 1956, to Harold Robert Derr and Alice Elizabeth Harding in Bangkok Thailand.

Mary Kathryn loved visiting and staying in touch with family and friends and in keeping those valued relationships. In her love to visit it was no surprise that she chose to become a licensed cosmetologist. Mary Kathryn’s language of birth was Thai and later she became fluent in English and Portuguese. She enjoyed using those language skills in meeting people and making friends.

Despite her many health challenges, she gave all she had to her family and in raising her two daughters. With a sense of humor all her own, she inscribed countless memories of laughter into the lives of all who knew her.

Mary Kathryn is survived by her husband Lar Seaver, two daughters Meagan (JJ) Larson, Kathryn (Tyler) Todd, stepdaughter Sydney Tomison (Eric Lange), three sisters Natalie Derr, Stephanie (Glen) Godfrey, Kimberly (James) Selfiason, brother Jacob Derr, two grandchildren Titus and Nikita Larson, five step-grandchildren Kenzie, Jaxin, Addisyn Tomison, Emma and Kayden Lange.

Mary Kathryn was preceded in death by her mother and father, sister Cari Dixon and father-in-law Vernon Seaver.

Graveside Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at Provo City Cemetery, 610 South State Street, Provo, Utah.
