Mark Parker Willden, 85, of Orem, Utah passed away Monday, February 4th, 2019. He was born June 26, 1933 in Paradox, Colorado to Rulon Zufelt Willden and Annina Bankhead Willden.
Mark spent his childhood in Provo, Utah and spent most of his life in Utah. Mark served with honor in the United States Navy during the Korean War. During his service he was awarded several medals and accommodations. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time with his family. He worked for Highland Dairy for 20 years as a Route Driver. He then moved to California where he worked in construction. He was the perfect example of a hard worker. After retirement he returned to Utah where he spent the remainder of his life.
Mark is survived by his four children: Mike (Marla) Willden of Pleasant Grove, Utah; Debbie (Jim) Yeoman of Spanish Fork, Utah; Mike Hancey of Larmie, Wyoming; Michelle Trout of Hewitt, Texas; his younger brother, Leland Kay Willden of Springville, Utah; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rulon and Annina and his siblings: Louise Hanson, Dwane Willden, Stan Willden, Christina Larson, Darrell Willden, and Gerald Willden.
There will be a family-only viewing at Sundberg Olpin Mortuary located at 495 South St. in Orem followed by a graveside service on Friday, February 8, 2019 at Orem City Cemetery with military rites. Condolences may be expressed to the family on this page.
