Mark Kelander

Mark Andrew Kelander, 58, of Payson, passed away on Monday, December 20, 2021. He was born on May 29, 1963, in Orem, Utah, to Arvid Andrew Kelander and Eva Rae Davis Kelander. In 1980, he went on a blind date where he met the love of his life DeAnna Carter. They were married on June 26,1981 in Orem, Utah. He was preceded in death by his mother and father Arvid and Eva Rae Kelander and his brother David Carl Kelander.

Mark participated in the Job Corps and learned welding skills there. He began work at Skyline Industries, going on to Klemp Corporation and Magic Topper. He finished out his career with Universal Industrial Sales where he worked for 22+ years. With friends and family he loved to go hunting, camping, and even fishing despite DeAnna outfishing him. With what little spare time he had, he enjoyed collecting and going through old coins.

Mark is survived by his wife DeAnna and their two children: Kevin Kelander and Koy (Kristen) Kelander; 13 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild. His siblings Susan Kelander, Janet Harding (His Favorite Sister), Jeneal (Gayle) Charlesworth, and Ryan Kelander.

In keeping with the wishes of Mark, there will be no funeral or memorial service. Instead, a celebration of life will be held for family and friends at a later date.
