Margo Joan Kembel Fugal, 73, of Orem, Utah, passed away, on Tuesday, June 4, 2024. She was born on July 11, 1950, in Ritzville, WA, to Harold Alton Kembel and Frances Mae Kembel. She married Nolan Fugal on March 8, 1975, in the Logan Temple.
Margo enjoyed family history, reading, and most of all spending time with family and friends. She was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on October 25, 1969. Throughout her lifetime Margo served in many capacities in her community and church such as President of the Utah Adoption Counsel, Relief Society, and Primary Presidencies, and her favorite calling as a Sunday school teacher.
Margo is survived by her husband Nolan Fugal of Orem, UT; her children Ilene Ricks (Rylan) of Idaho Falls, ID, Michele Horton (Robert) of Orem, UT, Tamara Manley (Nicholas) of Dupont, WA; 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughters Tanea and Lynne Fugal.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at Wheeler-Sundberg Funeral Home, 495 South State Street, Orem, Utah. Viewings for family and friends will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, June 10, 2024, at the mortuary and from 9:30-10:30 a.m. on Tuesday. June 11, 2024, at the mortuary before the services. The burial will be held in the Orem City Cemetery.
