Marelda Emmons Harper Williamson, beloved wife, step mother, aunt, and sister, returned to her Heavenly Father December 5, 2014. She was born August 3, 1924, in Provo, Utah to John and Zeda Emmons. She attended schools in Provo and Orem graduating in 1942 from Lincoln High School. She married the love of her life, Ralph Harper, on November 24, 1944. He passed away in 1977. She was blessed to find love again and married her sweetheart Joseph Williamson June 16, 1980. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Marelda enjoyed dancing, fishing, and doing handwork. She loved people- especially children. She loved living on their farm and her animals. Marelda is survived by her husband Joe; step-children Rae Lynn, Dan, Reed, Spencer, Melisa, and Kari; siblings John, Zeda, and Uleda; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and loved ones. She was preceded in death by her first husband Ralph; parents, brothers, Eugene and Robert, and a sister Beverly. A memorial service will be Wednesday, December 10th at 11:00 am at the Duchesne 4th Ward chapel, 901 N. 500 E. Funeral services will be Thursday, December 11th at 11:00 am at the Sundberg Olpin Mortuary, 495 S. State in Orem, with a viewing at 10:00 am.
