M. Holdaway

Kay was born in Lehi, Utah on November 7, 1934 to Clista Beck and Ellis D. Holdaway. Kay was a member of the LDS Church where he served a mission in Canada. Kay continued to be of service in the church including being a part of the bishopric and a powerful voice in the choir. Kay found his soul mate Lynda Kaye Holdaway who he married March 8, 1971 and their marriage was later sealed at Mount Timpanogos Temple on May 22, 2012. Kay was nothing short of amazing, giving love and support to anyone he came into contact with. Kay worked hard on his farm and also enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing with music being his passion. Kay was a very loving husband and father to his four children, sons Kris Holdaway, Kregg Holdaway, Brian Holdaway and daughter Tina Holdaway; to his grandchildren Zachary Holdaway, Jacquelyn Holdaway, Broch Holdaway, Kylin DeJesus, Kassaundra Holdaway, Kylea Risnger and Kaydence Holdaway. Kay preceded in death his: wife Lynda Kaye Holdaway, father Ellis D. Holdaway, mother Clista B. Holdaway, and son Kris G. Holdaway. The family would like to thank B. Richard Orton, Ladell Gillman, John Wible, Sunrise Home & Health and everyone who was involved in the care and friendship of our father. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 8, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. at the LDS Ward Building at 800 South Geneva Road in Orem, there will be a viewing Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the ward building and also a viewing Saturday from 11:45 to 12:45 pm at that same building. Interment will be in the Eastlawn Memorial Cemetery in Provo. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.SundbergOlpinMortuary.com.
