Lynn Petersen

Lynn Petersen, 86, of Orem Utah joined his eternal sweetheart in Heaven on Saturday, July 26, 2014. He was born March 21, 1928 to Joseph and Erma Petersen in Provo, Utah. He attended BYU Academy, Farrer Jr High and graduated from Provo High School in 1946. He started his lifelong career at Geneva Steel during his Sr. year. While riding with the Lucky 13 motorcycle club, he met the love of his life, LoRaine Faddis, and were married September 1, 1947. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. The were married for 63 wonderful years. They had 4 children, Ron, Jennean Wright (Brent) Patricia, and Brent (Paula). they also had 13 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. He had many talents including woodworking and he loved spending time with family and friends camping and fishing. After his retirement, he and his wife spent 20 years being snowbirds in Quartzsite AZ and made many lifelong friends. He was preceded in death by his beautiful bride LoRaine, his son Ron, his granddaughter Jennifer, his mom and dad, his 3 brothers, Joe, Rex and Paul, ahis half brother Parley, and his half sister Dorothy. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 1, 2014 at 1:00 pm at the Geneva Heights Ward Building 590 N 900 W. Viewings will be held Thursday evening from 6-8 pm at the Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary 495 S State St. in Orem Ut. and Friday an hour prior to services.
