Orem

Louise Magdalena Webb, 72, of Orem, passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2023. She was born March 22, 1951, in Coos Bay, Oregon, to Morris Howard Webb and Clema Alberta Chastain.

In her younger years Louise loved to travel. She made many trips to Hawaii. Loved visiting Australia, Samoa, Fiji, New Zealand, Mexico, and all throughout the United States and Canada. Louise was an avid reader and loved collecting books. She also loved making crafts with her nieces and nephews, cooking and collecting recipes. Louise graduated from BYU with a degree in genealogy. During her years at BYU she along with her 2 brothers dominated the BYU bowling league. She served for many years with the Disabled American Veterans (DAV). She was an avid movie and TV watcher. Many lists of the shows she was currently watching could be found scattered around her apartment. She had a real talent for telling stories and could keep you intrigued with the details. She worked as a secretary for many businesses- Fritzi’s, Hansen Candy, Cuban Cigar, and Webb Distributing. Louise loved her family and spending time with her nieces and nephews. We all have fond memories of the fun things we did with her. This past year she has found fulfillment living at Summerfield Independent Living. She has made many wonderful friends and enjoyed playing "Five Crowns" in the evenings. We thank all of those at Summerfield who made her last year full of friendship and love.

She is survived by her brother Gary (Sandra) Webb of Orem, UT; her sister-in-law Kristie Webb of Lindon, UT; her six nieces and nephew: Cathy (Bert) Morris, Cindy Demarais, Travis (Kristy) Webb, Kamberly Webb, Kindra (Eric) Densmore, Kaylee Davies and many great nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by her parents, sister, brother-in-law, and brother, Virginia (Jim) Erickson and Terry Webb.

A celebration of life will be done at a later date. Louise will be laid to rest alongside her parents in the Pleasant Grove cemetery.
