Lloyd Adrian Dresbach

March 2, 1951 — January 13, 2025

Provo

Lloyd Adrian Dresbach, 73, went home to the Lord on 13 January 2025, after suffering a major stroke just two days previously at his home in Provo, Utah. His beloved wife, Pat, was with him as he slipped into eternity.

Lloyd was born to Richard and Mary Beehrle Dresbach on 2 March 1951, in Silverton, Oregon. He lived in California most of his early years, until he married Patricia Lynn Mulford in the Oakland LDS Temple on 20 June 1981, when he and his wife moved to Provo, Utah. He lived in that same Provo home from then until his death.

Lloyd and Patricia were later divorced. He then married Vicki Kaye Ralph in the Logan LDS Temple on 17 April 1992. They were together from that day until her death in 2018. Lloyd was devastated by her passing.

Following this a miraculous thing happened. He and his first wife Patricia were reunited, marrying again on 11 February, 2023.

He proudly served his country in the United States Navy, during the Vietnam war aboard the Aircraft carrier U.S.S. Oriskany. Lloyd had fond memories of his time in the service and loved to reminisce about them.

Lloyd’s professional career included working as a janitor at both Canyon Crest Elementary and Provo High School. He was dedicated to his work and gave it his all. Lloyd was an avid gardener. He also loved camping and working with his hands in any capacity, including but not limited to, auto maintenance and woodworking.

Lloyd was known as a man of great kindness and service to his fellow man. Whether it was helping with car repairs, shoveling snow, or lending a hand with anything that was needed, Lloyd could always be counted on. His willingness to serve others reflected his love of all and love for the Lord.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Patricia and their loving son; Christopher; and his siblings; Rose Gotseff and Mimi Loveridge, and their families. As well as the family of his deceased sister, Beth Dresbach.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Mary Dresbach; his sister, Beth; and his son, David Lloyd Dresbach.

A man of strong faith, Lloyd was a dedicated member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. His love for the Lord inspired him to help and serve others throughout his life. He was a kind-hearted Christian who touched the lives of all around him. He will be deeply missed.

His funeral service will be on Saturday, 18 January 2025 in the Grandview 6th Ward Chapel at 11:00 am. There will be a viewing prior to the service between 9:30-10:30 am at the same location 1600 North 1880 West in Provo, Utah.
