Liane Foutz

Liane Bunnell Foutz, 91 years old, passed away in South Jordan, Utah on Monday, March 13, 2023.  Liane was born July 22, 1931, to LeRoy and Mildred Bunnell.  Liane grew up in Payson and Tremonton, Utah.  She enjoyed a magical childhood helping on the family farm, spending time with her younger sister and brother, Oneta and Duane, traveling with her family and enjoying life in a small town.

She attended BYU where she dated a lot but Hal Foutz captured her heart.  They were married in the Logan Temple on July 17, 1950.

Liane and Hal raised their family of 6 children in Las Vegas, Nevada.  They traveled the world as owners of Desert Travel.  Liane enjoyed the outdoors, dinners with good friends, lots of family time swimming, simple pleasures like chocolate, singing in a quartet and serving in many callings in the LDS church.  Liane worked hard and taught her children to work hard and how to serve others.

Liane is survived by 4 children:  Les Foutz, Ellen (Dave) Sinquefield, Susan (Dave) McClenahan and Lisa McKeon; 17 Grandchildren and 28 Great Grandchildren.

She was proceeded in death by her husband and 2 Daughters, Holly (Dave) Leffler and Sara (Mike) Newman; 4 Grandchildren, Carissa Newman, Austin Sinquefield, Houston Sinquefield, and Brooke Sinquefield.

A viewing /gathering will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at 10:00 am at Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary at 495 South State Street in Orem, Utah. Funeral Services will be held at the same location at 11:00 am in the Sundberg-Olpin chapel. Burial will take place next to her beloved Hal in the Midway City Cemetery following the funeral.
