Larae Burr

LaRae B. Burr, 88 of Orem, passed away August 14, 2019 in Sandy, Utah.

She was born September 21, 1930 in Provo, Utah, a daughter of Roland and Myrtle Stadling Brimhall. She spent her early years and was educated in Provo and graduated from Provo High School. She married William Ivan Burr on July 24, 1947 in Orem, Utah. He died May 21, 2012.

She worked many years as a credit manager at Granite Furniture in Provo. She enjoyed doing ceramic arts and was a member of the Orem Literary Club, Daughters of the Utah Pioneers and helped with the American Legion Girl’s State program. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She is survived by her sons: William Bryan (Leslie) Burr of Sandy, Reed (Nancy) Burr of Standsbury Park, Utah, Ted Burr of Millcreek, Utah; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

Private Family services were held at an earlier date.
