LaDonna "Donna" Ross Logan Donna Ross Logan, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother entered heaven's gates July 12, 2015, after a short battle with cancer. She was baptized in the LDS church at age eight and continued to be affiliated with that church throughout her life. She attended college at Idaho State and Brigham Young Universities. She married Jack Ballard in 1952 and left her life-long home in the beautiful Teton Mountains for San Francisco, California. While living in San Francisco, Donna worked to help support the family, and Jack attended medical school and later became Dr. Jack Ballard. Jack and Donna later divorced. Donna enjoyed a very successful career as a claims representative with Social Security Administration for nearly thirty years. She often traveled to help train employees new to Social Security and to help set up new offices. She loved people and truly enjoyed her job helping others. She received many cash and service awards for her outstanding work and devotion to her career. When Donna was transferred from the Twin Falls Social Security office to the Provo office, she met Jesse Ray Logan. They soon fell deeply in love and married on August 16, 1963. In March of 1967 Donna gave birth to another sweet baby girl, Jamie Rachelle Logan. Donna and Jess loved entertaining, especially hosting dinners, including family dinners. Their parties often included a round of dice games after dinner. They always made sure to have plenty of nickels on hand for the grandchildren to participate in the fun. She was tickled to hear the giggles when one of the kids won the "pot." As the family grew in number, Donna welcomed each new member with open arms and love. In her later years she maintained two homes, the one in Orem and a "summer" home in Victor, Idaho, next door to her childhood home. She loved spending summers in Victor and was constantly visited there by friends and family. She was well-known for her raspberries and often shared with others. She enjoyed the peace and tranquility in her raspberry patch. Accolades to Donna's friend, Gayle Reese, who has been near and dear to her for forty-five years.
