Kristine Harding Spurlock

August 21, 1961 — January 11, 2018

Kristine Harding Spurlock returned to her Heavenly Father on January 11, 2018, at her home in Orem, Utah, after courageously battling stage-4 lung cancer for two and a half years. She was surrounded by her loving family at her passing.

Kristine was born Aug 21, 1961, in Provo, Utah, to Val D. Harding and Carol J. Harding. Kris married Timothy Spurlock in 1977. They had one son Dustin Spurlock. They later divorced. In 1981, she met Paul D. Christen. They had one daughter Karley D. Christen. They resided in their Orem home until Kristine's passing.

She loved taking trips to Lake Powell to go fishing and camping with her family. She also enjoyed playing bingo and visiting Mesquite, Nevada. Spending time with her grandkids and family was the highlight of her life. She was a very giving person and fun to be around. Kristine was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Kristine is survived by her partner Paul D. Christen; their daughter Karley D. Christen; her son Dustin Spurlock; her step-daughter Skyler (Jeremy) Seamons; her mother Carol J. Riches; her brothers Robert Harding and Mark (Kristy) Harding; and her sister Angie Harding (Gary). She is the grandmother of five grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her father Val Harding and a niece Ashley Bench.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2018, at 11 a.m. at the Sundberg-Olpin Funeral Home located at 495 South State Street, Orem, Utah. A visitation will take place at the Funeral Home prior to services from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.  Burial will be in the Lindon City Cemetery.
