Kory Lees

Kory Karpowitz Lees, 53, of Orem, passed away peacefully on Nov 9th 2014 with her family by her side after battling Alzheimers. She was born in Provo on April 13th, 1961 to Robert K & Barbara Karpowitz. She grew up in Orem & graduated from Orem High School. She married her high school sweetheart Todd K Lees on April 8th 1982. She was an amazing Wife, Mother, & Grandmother. She enjoyed her grandchildren more than anything in this world, and spending time with family and friends. she was loved by so many for her sprightly personality. she enjoyed working for Intermountain Health Care for over 20 years and the people she worked with. She will be missed by so many. She is Proceeded in death by her father Robert. She is survived by her husband Todd, her children. Cristie Lees Porter, Kellie (Eric) Kay. her Grandchildren Kole, Sadie, Hadley, And Hayden. She is also survived by her mother Barbara, her siblings, Kent (Slyvia) Karpowitz, Karen Karpowitz, Kathy (Barry) Smith.On Nov.11th a viewing will be held from 6pm-8pm at Sundberg Olpin 495 south state street Orem Utah followed by the funeral on Nov. 12th 2014 at 11am there will be a viewing prior to the funeral from 9:45-10:45.
