Kenneth Cuthbert

September 25, 1929 — March 1, 2016

Our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away on March 1, 2016, due to incidents of age. He was born Sept 25, 1929 to Blair and Olive Cuthbert, in Rigby Idaho. He was raised in Rigby where he met and married Deone Tolley, his beloved wife of 68 years. They were married May 5, 1948 in the Idaho Falls, Temple. They have 5 children, Rodney (Pat) Cuthbert, Reid (Carla) Cuthbert, Karen (Mark) Allred, Karma Cluff and Raymond Cuthbert. Kenneth was an active member of the LDS church where he served as Stake Clerk, Bishop, and many other ward and stake callings. Kenneth and Deone served together as missionaries in the Texas, San Antonio mission. From a young age Kenneth was taught the value of hard work. He spent most of his career in bank management at First Security Bank. Kenneth loved people, and his greatest gift was his compassion for others, and his generosity. He served the community well, including School Board President, Kiwanis Club, and Rotary Club. He loved to travel and spend time with his family. He treasured his family and his many friendships. Kenneth is survived by, his wife, his 5 children, many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Gale Cuthbert, his daughter-in-law Louise Cuthbert. A viewing will be held Friday, March 4, from 6:00-8:00pm at Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary, 495 South State Orem, Utah 84058. Funeral Services will be held Saturday March 6, at the LDS Church Building, 310 North 100 East Orem, UT 84058. Viewing, 9:00-9:45 am. Funeral Services 10:00 am. Burial will be at the Orem Cemetery.
