Katherine Ella Hurdsman Kunz passed away peacefully at her home in Orem, Utah at 9:40 am on Tuesday, August 25, 2015. She was 67 years old. She died from lung cancer. She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Gary Clay Kunz; her daughter, Kristina Mary Thomas; her son-in-law, Aaron Thomas; two grandchildren, Jefferson and Grant Thomas; and her son, Carl Gary Kunz. She was a beloved wife and mother who always served selflessly and loved her Savior with all her heart. Funeral services will be held at the Orchard LDS Chapel (670 East 800 North, Orem, Utah) at 10 am on Saturday, August 29, 2015. The viewings will be on Friday, August 28, from 6 pm to 8 pm at the Sunberg-Olpin Mortuary (495 S State St. Orem) and Saturday the 29th at the Orchard Chapel from 8:30 am to 9:30 am. Katherine will be buried at the Orem Cemetery after the funeral.
